Recruiting roundup: Michigan State DL commit Jacub Panasiuk flashes rushing skills

EAST LANSING – Jacub Panasiuk is the highest-rated defensive lineman committed to Michigan State's 2017 class.

However, his skills apparently extend to the other side of the ball as well.

Panasiuk, a three-star defensive end from Lake Park High School in Illinois, had two sacks and a 2-yard touchdown run out of the Wildcat formation in a 28-20 win over Wheaton Warrenville South on Friday, according to Daily Herald.

At 6-foot-3 and 266 pounds, Panasiuk is the No. 9 recruit in Illinois, No. 25 strong-side defensive end and No. 609 player overall in the 2017 class, according to 247 Sports Composite rankings.
