Recruiting: Michigan State flips 2 more just hours before Signing Day

EAST LANSING – Michigan State found itself on the positive side of the twists and turns of the final day before National Signing Day. Twice.

The Spartans flipped their third recruit in the past month today when three-star wide receiver C.J. Hayes became the 21st player in MSU’s 2017 class.

Then in the early evening, MSU flopped its fourth player when linebacker Noah Harvey announced via Twitter that he changed his pledge from Bowling Green to become the Spartans’ 22nd commitment. Both players are ranked three-star recruits, according to 247Sports.com.

Hayes previously had committed in June to Purdue, which fired coach Darrell Hazell four months later during the season.
