The Spartans are still heavily involved in the recruitment of Carey, but there hasn't been any updates as of late to make me believe they've made up any ground on Duke. The Blue Devils have consistently been the leader here, with Miami (Fla), Kentucky and North Carolina also heavily involved, as well as the Spartans.
Keep in mind, Carey still has plans to take several official visits before making any decisions, which makes me believe this recruitment is far from over.
