Recap: MSU quarterbacks struggle in 26-6 loss to OSU

Game Summary

Michigan State kept things close throughout two quarters of a low-scoring affair in East Lansing Saturday, but couldn't get out of its own way as it fell to Ohio State, 26-6.

Ohio State suffocated the Spartans with field position; Michigan State started five consecutive drives inside its own 6-yard-line in the second half, resulting in a safety and a fumble in the end zone that was recovered by the Buckeyes for a touchdown.

Neither Brian Lewerke nor Rocky Lombardi could find a rhythm running the offense, and each quarterback turned the ball over while down two scores in the fourth.
