Read the letter from the NCAA to Michigan State ending its Nassar inquiry

The NCAA does not see a need for "further inquiry" into its two reviews of Michigan State athletics for potential NCAA violations.

That's according to a letter sent this week from NCAA Vice President of Enforcement Jonathan F. Duncan to Michigan State athletic director Bill Beekman.

The letter, dated Wednesday, Aug. 29, formally brings a close to the two inquiries, one into the Larry Nassar scandal and one into Michigan State's handling of sexual assault complaints made against football and basketball players, pending new information becoming available.
