LANSING, MI - Michigan State University gymnasts described then-Head Coach Kathie Klages as unprofessional and emotional during a 2016 team meeting about ex-Dr. Larry Nassar, but said she did not stop them from talking to police, according to a police report.
The Michigan State University Police Department investigated Klages early last year for obstruction of justice, but found no evidence of that.
Police conducted interviews with the team and staff members in January and February of 2017, after a lawsuit claimed then-MSU Gymnastics Coach Kathie Klages had instructed gymnasts not to talk to the police at a September 2016 meeting and warned them their phones could be searched.
