EAST LANSING – Reality lived up to the hype for Darian Hicks.
"I heard mono sucks," the Michigan State junior cornerback said. "And it does."
Then again, mononucleosis does more of a number on a lot of people than it did on Hicks, who received his diagnosis in early August and said he no longer is feeling effects.
"I've had people (tell me) they were sick for months," Hicks said.
