It's Wednesday of game week, and there's no sign of Le'Veon Bell.
The Pittsburgh Steelers running back skipped all of training camp last year, but reported in time to suit up for Week 1. That doesn't look like it will be the case in 2018.
Bell is set to play on the franchise tag ($14.5 million) for the second consecutive year. He'll be an unrestricted free agent in the offseason.
Le'Veon Bell's agent Adisa Bakari just now on NFL LIVE: "He's going to do the things necessary to protect his value long-term."
Week 1 sure sounds like a long-shot.
