Michigan State will open play in the Big Ten Tournament as the No. 5 seed and face the winner of an opening-round game between Nebraska and Penn State.
Tip-off will be at 2:30 p.m. Thursday on Big Ten Network.
The Spartans' spot in the tournament bracket was finalized late Sunday with Nebraska's home loss against Michigan.
With that, the Huskers locked themselves into the No. 12 seed. Penn State is the No. 13 seed.
