But unfortunately for the Grizzlies on Sunday, the Michigan State coach has one of the best teams in the country — period — under his tutelage.
The No. 4 Spartans dominated undersized Oakland on the glass, knocking off the confident visitors 109-91 on Sunday.
Seven Spartans scored in double figures, led by Gabe Brown’s career-high 20 points to lead Michigan State (6-0), which opens Big Ten play at Northwestern on Dec. 20.
Aaron Henry added 15 points, Joshua Langford had 13, and Joey Hauser, Malik Hall, Foster Loyer and A.
