EAST LANSING -
A total of four different Spartans (4-5-1) found the back of the net and MSU was a perfect two-for-two on the power play.
“I thought we did a lot of good things,” said MSU head coach Tom Anastos. “The puck seemed to go in the net in fortuitous ways. I give Michigan Tech credit; I give them credit for coming back and making plays and making plays when they needed to make them.”
JT Stenglein scored the fourth goal of an back-and-forth second period, giving the Spartans a 4-3 lead at the 12:32 mark of the middle stanza.
