EAST LANSING – Three weeks ago, Michigan State faced the highest-scoring team in the nation in Michigan, now averaging 4.86 goals per game.

Two weeks ago, the Spartans’ opponent was Minnesota, the 13th highest-scoring team. The Gophers are averaging 3.39 goals.
