If you believe that college students are first students and not just athletes then the news the NCAA delivered to the MSU athletic department for their BIG THREE programs was awfully good on Wednesday. The latest APR ratings came out. APR stands for Academic Progress Rates and it is a barometer for how the NCAA looks at the success, or lack thereof, of college athletic programs. It is also the system they use in handing out punishments for schools that don’t succeed in the classroom.
Tom Anastos and the MSU hockey program lead the way with a 997 out of possible 1,000 points.
