EAST LANSING - MSUSpartans.com staff writer Neil Koepke has been named the 2018 recipient of the Jim Fullerton Award, the American Hockey Coaches Association announced this week. Koepke is one of the longest-tenured college hockey writers in the nation.
“Neil has been a big part of college hockey for a long time and it’s great to see him become a Jim Fullerton Award winner,” MSU head coach Danton Cole said. “Neil is a great writer and a tremendous friend of the game - we’re all excited to see him get this well-deserved honor.”
“I’ve had a great run covering college hockey and am very honored to be in the company of so many great past award winners, including our own Dave Carrier,” Koepke said.
