East Lansing – Sarah Kovan has some advice for anyone getting ready to head to college.
And frankly, there might not be a better person to dole out such wisdom.
As the Okemos native prepares to graduate from Michigan State with degrees in comparative cultures and politics, as well as human biology, she does so as a Rhodes Scholar, the 17th recipient from the university (first since Stephanie Palmer in 1997).
“I would say my first thing is don’t limit yourself,” Kovan said. “Don’t hold back on opportunities that are given to you, chances or experiences that you can take advantage of.
