MSU's Jalen Watts-Jackson recounts momentous TD

East Lansing – Jalen Watts-Jackson remembers the play vividly, he also remembers how it felt when he crossed the goal-line.

"It was pure pain," the redshirt freshman safety said.

But he'd do it all again to experience what he has since he scored the winning touchdown against Michigan on Saturday. It was the final play and Watts-Jackson carried a fumbled punt 38 yards for the score, giving Michigan State a 27-23 victory.

He also disclocated his hip in the process.

"If I had to do it all over again," Watts-Jackson said, "I definitely would."

In his first chance to talk since returning from the University of Michigan Hospital on Monday, Watts-Jackson thanked the staff at the hospital and his teammates for how they've supported him.
