EAST LANSING -- Tom Izzo started his pre-practice meeting with reporters today at Breslin Center by addressing the "knuckleheads" he said left him "very disappointed" with their legal trouble this summer.
Izzo said junior guards Eron Harris and Alvin Ellis will accompany the Spartans on a trip to Italy that begins Friday, but they won't play in any of the four exhibitions games there. They also will have their vehicles removed for an extended time, Izzo said, and they have been meeting with families affected by drunken driving.
Harris pleaded guilty to reckless driving earlier this month, after he was cited for an OWI and registered a 0.
