After a thrilling overtime victory on Friday afternoon, the Michigan State Women’s Soccer Team continues their NCAA Tournament run today in the round of 16. The next opponent is the Duke Blue Devils, who are the #1 team in the region, and thus the host team for the game. The good news is that MSU has played on this field already and should have some familiarity and comfort there. The bad news is that Duke is actually the #1 overall team coming into the tournament and could have a home field advantage. We will see how many people show up for this women’s soccer game, but I will assume it is going to be more than the three I saw in the stands for Friday’s game.
