As expected, the Michigan State men’s basketball team took a tumble in the Associated Press Top 25.
The Spartans (16-3), who dropped both games last week and are off to a 3-3 start in Big Ten play, plummeted seven spots to No. 11 in this week’s poll, released Monday. They dropped to No. 10 in the coaches poll.
Michigan State lost to Iowa, 76-59, on Thursday before losing, 77-76, to Wisconsin on Sunday. Iowa is No. 9 in this week’s poll, up seven spots.
Michigan State returns to action Wednesday at home against Nebraska (11-8, 3-3 Big Ten).
