Investigators at Michigan State University have cleared three former basketball players who were accused of sexually assaulting a female student, a university spokeswoman confirmed Friday.
The student, Bailey Kowalski, came forward publicly this spring about the incident she said happened on April 12, 2015 at a player's apartment. Kowalski filed a Title IX lawsuit against MSU in 2018, prompting the university to launch a Title IX investigation.
MSU spokeswoman Emily Guerrant said in a text message to the Lansing State Journal that investigators did not find any violations of university policy.
