EAST LANSING -- The campaign is full go. The conspiracy theorists can rest.
In this, the Year of Denzel at Michigan State, you never know what might be attached to the name of MSU senior guard Denzel Valentine. For example, a multi-purpose tool that serves as a bottle opener, flashlight and knife.
MSU recently sent out about 500 of those to media members and coaches around the country — voters for the national player of the year awards — in a reminder of his candidacy and message about his various functions as a player.
