East Lansing — The Michigan State University Police department has submitted warrant requests regarding their investigation of an alleged on-campus sexual assault, the Ingham County Prosecutor’s office announced Thursday.
“We anticipate that the MSU Police will submit further evidentiary materials later today,” the prosecutor’s office said in a release. “Following this, the Ingham County Prosecutor’s Office will review all of the available evidence and information and make a review decision in the short-term future.”
On Feb. 9, the university announced that MSU Police were investigating a sexual assault that involved three student-athletes for an alleged incident that occurred in late January.
