MSU police deliver evidence to prosecutors in sexual assault investigation

The Michigan State University Police Department delivered more evidence to the Ingham County prosecutor's office Tuesday regarding the ongoing sexual assault investigation into three football players and one of the Spartans' staff members.

Prosecutor Carol Siemon said in a statement Tuesday morning that she and her assistants are reviewing the additional reports and materials. Police submitted a request for four arrest warrants on Feb. 16, which was the same day that Siemon asked the department to provide follow-up material.

Three of the four warrants sought are for alleged sexual assault crimes. The fourth is for a non-sexual crime related to the investigation.
