Michigan State kicker Matt Coghlin will return for a sixth season, he announced via Twitter today.
The Cincinnati native connected on nine-of-12 kicks this past season, while knocking home a career long 51-yard field goal in an upset win against rival Michigan.
In his time with the Spartans, Coghlin has worked his way up the record book. Over his career, he ranks tied for first in PAT percentage (100 percent), fourth in field goal percentage (75.3 percent), second in made field goals (55), fourth in field goals attempted (85) and fifth in scoring (305).
