INDIANAPOLIS -- ESPN "College GameDay" analyst David Pollack understands what it means to play with a chip on your shoulder, which is what Michigan State and Iowa players have talked about all season.
He explained it isn’t something that will just show up Saturday night, when MSU plays Iowa for the Big Ten championship at 8:15 p.m. in Lucas Oil Stadium.
It has been a gradual process for both teams.
“When you have a chip on your shoulder and you’re doubted, you’re more inclined to watch tape a little bit longer and stretch a little bit longer and do more exercises in the off-season or in the week a little bit longer," Pollack said.
