MSU GYMNASTICS: Strong Floor, Vault Rotations Help MSU to Seventh-Place Finish at Big Tens

East Lansing, Mich.– Michigan State posted its season-best results on both floor and vault in finishing in seventh place overall at the 2016 Big Ten Championship in Lincoln, Neb. on Saturday. The Spartans mark their highest finish at the Conference championship meet since 2013, while their team score of 195.475 was its best at the Big Ten Championships since scoring a 195.65 in 2009.

Elena Lagoskifinished tied for second on floor exercise, tying her career-best 9.95, and sophomoreHailee Westneytied for third with her career-best 9.90 on bars — and the duo each earned a spot on the All-Big Ten Championship Team for their top-three finishes.
