It was announced today that three more Michigan State football players have decided to opt out of participating in the 2020 football season. That brings the total to five players who have decided not to play this season.
Offensive lineman Mustafa Khaleefah and a couple freshmen are recent opt-puts due to COVID-19 concerns. Tucker says he and the program support those decisions.

Redshirt junior offensive tackle Mustafa Khaleefah, true freshman defensive tackle Simeon Barrow, and true freshman defensive end Jasiyah Robinson have joined senior right tackle Jordan Reid and true freshman offensive lineman Justin Stevens in opting out of the 2020 season.
