As the Michigan State football team continues to build its 2018 recruiting class, the Spartans are getting a jump on 2019 as well.
Spencer Brown, a 6-foot-6 270-pound rising junior lineman from Walled Lake Western, said Monday he’ll play for the Spartans, becoming the first commit in the 2019 class.
“Coach (Mark) Dantonio, (Terrence) Samuel, (Mark) Staten, (Brad) Salem thank you for believing in me,” Brown tweeted. “With that being said let’s get it done. I’ll proudly announce that I’ll be furthering my academic and athletic career at Michigan State University.”
Brown played on the defensive line at Walled Lake Northern, but told Scout.
