East Lansing —Michigan State football is looking to get its players on the same page to turn the tide of the season, as it reaches its midway point.
The challenge is fixing multiple issues on both ends of the ball.
“We’re solid offensively; we just haven’t been executing as a unit,” wide receivers coach Courtney Hawkins said. “There’s always been one guy, and football, for us, is the ultimate team sport. You’ve got to have all 11 guys doing (the same thing) over and over for the 70 plays. We’ve been inconsistent.”
