Just days after it was announced that MSU football would be putting a pause on workouts, the situation is now going even longer.
MSU released a statement on Friday confirming a second staff member tested positive along with one student-athlete. With that news, MSU is shutting down football for 14 days as the team heads into a quarantine within their living quarters. Football facilities will not be available for use during this two-week stretch.
Update at Michigan State, which will quarantine or isolate the whole team for 14 days after a couple more positive tests.
