BELLEVILLE, Mich. -- Michigan State fans have reason to be excited about the Spartans' 2019 recruiting class. The recruiting class is ranked as the No. 26 class in the country according to the 247Sports Composite with eight of the 16 total commits so far from a high school in Michigan.
On Friday night, the top two players in the Spartans' recruiting class were showing why there is a lot to look forward to in East Lansing. Belleville seniors Devonate Dobbs and Julian Barnett displayed why they are five-star and four-star recruits, respectively, in a 29-26 win over Dearborn Fordson in a battle of unbeaten teams.
