It doesn’t take personal achievements or accolades to make Messiah deWeaver feel a sense of accomplishment. It’s all about the winning. Michigan State is getting an unselfish group of kids in 2016, spearheaded by the four-star quarterback from Dayton, Ohio.
Jumping from recruiting camp to recruiting camp this spring and summer, deWeaver has won a couple of MVPs, but the honors don’t mean as much as the overall team-building atmosphere, and winning.
His goals for the upcoming year aren’t based around improving his recruit ranking according to Rivals or 247Sports, but it’s about winning and bettering his overall game.
