Michigan State defensive end recruit Donovan Winter of Orlando, Fla., is not expected to sign a national letter of intent after being arrested on a burglary charge and larceny of a firearm this week, according to records at the Seminole County Jail.
The senior from Bishop Moore Catholic is being held in the Seminole Country Jail on $2,000 bound and awaiting a GPS device before being released.
The Orlando Sentinel first reported that Winter was not part of a signing ceremony at his high school on Wednesday morning. When the Sentinel reached football coach Matt Hedrick, he replied “No, he’s not signing.
