The Spartans' goals are still ahead of them after their statement win against Ohio State this past Saturday. MSU has jumped to No. 5 in the CFP Rankings after beating the reigning national champion and then-No. 3 Buckeyes 17-14. The Spartans 11 wins should be good enough to place them in a January bowl game, but in order to make it into the “New Year's Six” and beyond, there is still much to be accomplished.
