MINNEAPOLIS - The Minnesota Golden Gophers rallied from a 1-0 deficit with three third-period goals to top the Michigan State hockey team, 3-1, on Saturday night at Mariucci Arena. After Justin Kloos tied the game 31 seconds into the third, Connor Reilly scored what proved to be the game-winner with 8:26 to play.
Matt DeBlouw scored for the Spartans (5-17-2, 1-7), while goaltender Jake Hildebrand made 29 saves in the loss.
"I'm disappointed with the result, obviously," MSU head coach Tom Anastos said. "Giving up a goal in the first minute of the period is no way to start a period.
