East Lansing, Mich. - Michigan State men’s basketball sophomore guard/forward Miles Bridges was named a Second Team All-American by the United States Basketball Writers Association (USBWA) on Monday afternoon.
This is the third All-American honor in the last week for Bridges, who was a Second Team All-American honoree by The Sporting News and USA Today last week. Bridges was also named to the USBWA All-District V team last week, the second-straight year he has been named to that team.
Bridges, who was a unanimous All-Big Ten First Team selection this year, leads Michigan State in scoring with 16.
