Thursday was a big day for college athletes everywhere as the new NIL rules went into effect and they could start making money off endorsements for the first time ever.
The name, image, and likeness rule changes have also opened the door for speculation regarding former athletes. Like what if this new system was in place when Chris Webber was still in college or should Reggie Bush have been punished and forced to return his Heisman Trophy?
