Monday marks the two-year anniversary of the death of former Michigan State punter Mike Sadler, who died in a car crash in Wisconsin.
Sadler's legacy has reverberated since his death, from the National Football Foundation's Michigan chapter renaming the award given to the state's top Division I college football scholar-athlete after him to a brewery in Denver crafting Hey Diddle Diddle, the name of the fake punt Sadler ran against Iowa in 2013.
The latest touching tribute was posted on Monday by the Big Ten Network. One of its reporters, Michelle McMahon, a Michigan volleyball alumnae, went to the same high school as Sadler, Grand Rapids Forest Hills Northern.
