The Big Ten announced its season-long awards Tuesday by naming players to several all-conference teams and recognizing other standouts for individual awards.
Michigan basketball center Hunter Dickinson was named second-team All-Big Ten by the coaches and the media after averaging 18.4 points and 8.5 rebounds per game to lead the Wolverines in both categories.
Shooting guard Eli Brooks, the team’s second-leading scorer at 12.2 points per game, received honorable mention from the media.
Power forward Moussa Diabate was named to the All-Freshman team after averaging 9.2 points and 5.6 rebounds per game.
Michigan State basketball forward Gabe Brown was named third-team All-Big Ten by the coaches after averaging a team-high 11.
