ANN ARBOR -- Saturday will be a unique experience for Ed Warinner, a product of the college football coaching web.
Michigan's offensive line coach has made 11 stops in his 30-plus years in the business, one that began in 1984 as a graduate assistant at the University of Akron.
His roommate -- and fellow graduate assistant -- at the time was a guy named Mark Dantonio.
"We were just two guys who loved coaching football, loved the opportunity," Warinner said Wednesday, reflecting on his journey ahead of Michigan's Saturday showdown at Michigan State (noon, FOX).
