DIMONDALE - The 40 minutes Xavier Tillman and Nick Ward spent going head-to-head Tuesday night were just a prelude to the real action.
Following a game in the Moneyball Pro-Am, Tillman was talking to media members outside the locker rooms at Aim High Sports in Dimondale. The Michigan State sophomore was asked about the possibility of sharing the same frontcourt this season as Ward, his junior teammate.
"We talk about that, I think, either every day or every other day and we argue who's going to play the 4 (power forward)," Tillman said with a smile, "and I think I'm going to play the 4 and he's going to play the 5 (center).
