EAST LANSING — Michigan State product Trevon Pendleton suffered a broken foot in Baltimore's second rookie mini-camp on Friday and has been released from the NFL team.
Pendleton, one of the heroes of the Spartan's 17-14 win over Ohio State with his touchdown catch, and again in a 27-23 victory over Michigan with the team's longest reception of the season (74 yards), had signed with the Ravens as an undrafted free agent.
The recovery time for Pendleton's injury is eight weeks, after which the team could bring him back for another tryout.
The Spartans had five players selected in the NFL draft, while several others signed undrafted free-agent deals of reached agreements for tryouts.
