EAST LANSING — Tom Izzo admits his opinion of the coronavirus doesn’t matter.
But Michigan State basketball’s Hall of Fame coach and the rest of the college basketball world is dealing with the reality of ripple effect COVID-19 is having – at the biggest possible moment in his sport.
The Ivy League canceled its postseason men’s basketball tournament on Tuesday morning and plans to “implement highly-restrictive, in-venue spectator limitations” for other on-campus sporting events.
