EAST LANSING — Tom Izzo knows four of Michigan State’s starters heading into Tuesday’s preseason opener with Northern Michigan.
Senior Kenny Goins will get the nod over sophomore Xavier Tillman at forward when the 10th-ranked Spartans tip off at 7 p.m. Tuesday.
That doesn’t mean it will be that way when MSU faces No. 1 Kansas a week later in the regular-season opener at the Champions Classic in Indianapolis.
