EAST LANSING – Some teams pass and shoot. Some defend and rebound. Some rely on depth, and others on star power.
Tom Izzo has never coached a team that possesses all of those things like this one does.
“I mean, I look at some of these stats,” Izzo said of the No. 2-ranked Spartans, who play their next-to-last regular season game tonight at lowly Rutgers.
