Michigan State's Miles Bridges named second-team All-American by USBWA

Miles Bridges picked up another All-American honor on Monday.

The Michigan State sophomore was named to the second team by the U.S. Basketball Writers Association, his third national honor this season.

Bridges leads the Spartans at 16.9 points per game, ranks second on the team with 6.9 rebounds and is third with 2.8 assists per game. He is sixth in the Big Ten in scoring, 11th in rebounding and third in free-throw shooting at 88.3 percent.

The 6-foot-7 forward from Flint, who was a unanimous All-Big Ten first-team selection, earned second-team All-American honors last week from USA Today and The Sporting News.
