MADISON, Wis. — The chants of “cheater” filled the Kohl Center, the Wisconsin student section unleashing on Miles Bridges.

Undaunted, he calmly stepped to the line and, in the middle of another offensively challenged performance, made a pair of free throws with 4.7 seconds left to seal Michigan State’s first outright Big Ten regular-season championship since 2009.
