Tom Izzo says Michigan State's 67-59 victory at Wisconsin 'was a war' on Feb. 12, 2019 in Madison, Wis. Chris Solari, Detroit Free Press
MADISON, Wis. — Kenny Goins’ elbow felt good enough start for Michigan State basketball.
He also felt good enough to finish off No. 20 Wisconsin in the 11th-ranked Spartans’ 67-59 win Tuesday night at Kohl Center.
The senior forward, playing with a protective, padded sleeve on his injured left arm, atoned for a near turnover by swishing a 3-pointer with 32 seconds to play that doubled the Spartans’ lead to six and sent Wisconsin’s fans streaming for the exits.
