The Michigan State Spartans overcame a late 16-point deficit earning a massive victory over the Michigan Wolverines on Saturday afternoon, and it was due in large part to the play of Kenneth Walker III.
Walker rushed for 197 yards on 23 carries and scored all five of the Spartans’ touchdowns in their 37-33 win over the Wolverines. For his efforts, Walker was recognized by the Walter Camp Football Foundation as the National Offensive Player of the Week.
The five touchdowns scored by Walker are the second most for any MSU player, and the most by any player ever against the Wolverines.
