EAST LANSING - Justin Layne has experience at both cornerback and wide receiver.
The Michigan State junior knows what it's like to be beat for a touchdown, as well as catch a pass and go into the end zone for a score.
"It feels way better on offense than it does on defense," Layne said with a laugh after practice on Tuesday night.
Layne is a starting cornerback and key member of Michigan State's defense. But, with the Spartans' receiver corps depleted due to injuries, he's also getting another shot on the other side of the ball.
